Simón Escabi joined Balmori Associates in 2020. He holds a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor in Architecture from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia.

His interests revolve around the juncture between urban space and ecology, focusing on the simultaneous facilitation of ecological and social processes through design. As a result of these interests, he has participated in urban renewal workshops in Mexico City led by local designers and Harvard University and in the design of public parks in Colombia during his professional development.
