Cristina Preciado joined Balmori Associates in 2018. She holds a degree in Architecture and a minor in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia. She also participated in the exchange program at the Escola Tècnica Superior d'Arquitectura de Barcelona, with a specialization in urban design.

Her undergraduate thesis explored the relationship between coastal landscapes and the city fabric, in her hometown country of Panama. Her research proposed solutions to coastal and surface flooding by implementing responsive landscapes that also served as public spaces for the city.  She is excited to expand her knowledge in landscape architecture and urban design by working in the office and continuing her studies.
